Gordon, native of Mobile, Alabama and a resident of Fairhope, Alabama for the past 3 months, died in a Fairhope hospital Tuesday, July 13, 1976. Mr. Gordon is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Alice Craven Gordon, Fairhope, one son, Curtis P. Gordon, Fairhope; two daughters, Miss Alice Ward Gordon, Miss Ann Louise Gordon, both of Mobile; mother, Mrs. Curtis Bush, Dauphin Island; two brothers, Mr. James P Gordon, Mobile, Mr. Tom Gordon, Oakland, CA; one sister, Miss Nell Ray Gordon, Dauphin Island; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from Spring Hill Presbyterian Church Wednesday, July 14 1976 at 1:00 p.m.. with interment in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends may call by the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday for visitation. William married Mary Alice "Bebe" Craven, daughter of Craven and Unknown. (Mary Alice "Bebe" Craven was born about 1920 and died on 30 Dec 2003.)
