The Following lists of some of the registrants from Franklin County in the 1827 land lottery is from the Franklin County File, File II Counties, Georgia Department of Archives and History. • Note. Much documentation has the mother of John and William Bush as Elizabeth Freeman. However, my research tends to point to Elizabeth Freeman being the grandmother, wife of Tomothy Toney and mother of Elizabeth Toney, who I believe is the actual wife of Daniel and mother of John and William. Elizabeth married Daniel Bush, son of Daniel Bush and Unknown, in 1772 in Georgia. (Daniel Bush was born in 1735-1740 in South Carolina and died on 26 Feb 1801 in Franklin Co., GA.)
