• Note. Niece of President Madison. Two of our relatives, Francis Fitzhugh and William Thornton, killed each other in a duel over her love. Obviously Reuben won the duel!

Lucie married Reuben Conway, son of Capt. Catlett Conway and Susannah Fitzhugh. (Reuben Conway was born in 1788 and died on 3 Jan 1838.)
