• Note: Comment by Timothy Field Beard. I have determined that the widow of John CATLETT of Newington near Sittingbourne who died before 26 Apr 1622 was not the Elizabeth FRAUNCIS that he married in 1588, but another Elizabeth who was born about 1594. The last three children were by this wife.
