St. Johns Berkley, page 4, near Francis Marion • Death Note: from "Early Settlers of Alabama" page 398. Died suddenly of heart affection while at his plantation near Camden. Peter married Mary Flint, daughter of William Flint and Martha Couturier, in 1792 in Charleston, South Carolina.35 (Mary Flint was born on 20 Dec 1773 in St. James Santee Parish, SC, died on 11 May 1834 in Camden, Kershaw Co., SC and was buried in Camden Cemetery, Camden, Kershaw Co., SC.)
