• Obituary, 4 May 1904. Harold Orr Kalleen, the youngest son of Superintendent J. C. Kalleen, of the Boys Reform School died early yesterday morning at the reform school as a result of an operation for appendicitis. The boy was taken suddenly ill last Saturday and the operation was performed on Monday. It was believed that he would recover until late Wednesday night, when complications set in. The young fellow was bright and attractive in disposition and was much beloved by all the employees at the institution.
• Death Note. The Forest Hills Cemetery has his death as being from Tuberculosis. Had to be a mistake on the tombstone, unless the complication was due to the fact he had TB, which using anesthesia would complicate.
