Capt. Edmund King served in the Revolution from Halifax County, Va. Moved to Franklin Co. Ga. ca 1798 with most of his children. Son, Robert King married Sally (Sarah) Lacy Halifax Co. Va. 1789. Records Halifax Co. Va indicate they sold home place 1804 and moved elsewhere.
Robert married Sarah "Sally" Lacy, daughter of Thomas Lacy, IV and Catharine Evans, on 25 Feb 1789 in Halifax County, VA. (Sarah "Sally" Lacy was born in 1770.)
